DataTools is committed to providing you the best and most secure web service experience possible with Kleber and CA+ products. As such we are ending support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 and focusing our resources on new technologies and supported security systems. Going forward, only the most recent versions of the TLS will be supported.

Why are we ending support for TLS 1.0?

TLS 1.0 and 1.1 is an out-of-date protocol that does not support modern cryptographic algorithms, and they contain security vulnerabilities that may be exploited.

More secure versions are available now, with TLS 1.2 becoming the recommended version by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) in 2008. The IETF formally deprecated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 in March 2021.

To ensure continued access to the web services users should update their web service integrations to use TLS version 1.2.

Key Points:
- Timing: September Update, date to be advised
- Action: Review and update web service integrations to use TLS Version 1.2
